I've been updating the thread on OCDO's California forum for the past week getting people to RSVP. Looks like we got at least 7 people RSVP'd.
I'm extending the invite to all others here as well!
This Saturday, June 20th, there's going to be an OC meet & greet at Carrows on Chapman.
Dinner time is 5:00 PM. If you want to arrive early you can. They don't make reservations per se but I will definitely call ahead a day and get 2 booths. We can always get more.
You can view the original thread here (http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum12/26383.html) on OCDO. Please send me a PM if you're tentative or want to RSVP!
I won't be making the event, but am hoping someone can take a bunch of materials there and hold a table.
Please, save your discussions on validity, legality, morality etc of UOC for another thread. This is specifically for the event and discussion/questions about it. It would be GREAT to see Calgunners there too. UOC is not required, but encouraged.
Why Carrow's? Well, it's already been ascertained through contact that their corporate policy on firearms is "if it's legal, its ok with us". And their prime rib is pretty good ;)
Why did I post this in the 2nd amendment Politics and Laws forum? Because it's more of a meet to exercise our rights and show support of the 2nd amendment. Hopefully at the same time we can educate a few people about their rights and the laws as well.
Thanks!
