That "Galil" is an abomination. I thought the pump-action AK look alikes were ugly. I wouldn't put that thing in my safe even if it was given to me.

I saw one of those at the Soldier of Fortune in Vegas many years ago.....I was waiting for them to come out, but never saw them come out.....I think it was Vector Arms that was planning on importing them.Interesting ,but it's still a pump.

A CA-neutered gun is one thing. That's the lack of flash-hiders, standard capacity mags and pistol grips.
A pump-action Galil or AK look-alike is a friggin bastard child of circus side-show performers. I'm not sure, but the FAB-10 might also fit into that category. http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Sorry for the rant. I just can't stand these Franken-rifles.

Oh the horror, what a shame.
Oh well, my friend has a 308 Galil and I've shot it a few times, didn't like it too much, will stick with FALs. However, only thing the Galil I really liked was the bottle openers on the bipod.

Sad. The real Galil is a horse and will outlive most rifle of the same ilk. I have seen one fired over a thousand times in one weekend with only a few misfeeds. The guy who owns it said he could probably bury it and come back later dust it off and fire it. I will admit it was too short for me to really enjoy shooting. Since it was the only assault rifle there on a guys weekend it got abused. He never cleaned it the whole time. say what you will of the Galil it is sturdy.

That thing is UGLY! I can't get the picture out of my mind!! ARGH!!
http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif But at least the rifle industry is trying to help us out. They could ignore us all together. Can someone please design a rimfire 7.62 cartridge?

Galil 308s had receiver cracking problems.
There's a warehouse full of 'em somewhere in Israel.
While Galils have a high 'cool factor' I never saw a reason to own one in 223 when I could have an AR and reliable spare parts supply, or a FAL with a reasonable parts supply too.
