yeah, i regret not getting more, got these doing a spur of the moment kind of thing, but happy i got them anyways. could have bought more, but i have a ton on backorder and i dont want to buy anymore than i can foresee using at this period. too many people without. i bought some SMKs today from a local store. overpaid, but didnt mind because i've been having a hard time finding anything i use lately. asked the clerk how many boxes he had left- he said 4. i took 2 even though i could have loaded all for boxes tonite...

I'm sad seeing this. I'm sure 5,000 would have been enough. There will be a time when 45K would be Ok, but now is not the time. I ordered 2K of those. That gave me 3,800 total. More than enough to last me a few years. Sorry for the rant. Usually not me:(

Actually 30,000 of those are going to my coworkers and there families
The funny part about this is we only had to wait 2 weeks for these from my supplier:confused: componets are still out there. How is now not the time?

How is now not the time?

I'll only speak for myself. I didn't buy more than i did, although i was very capable of purchasing say another 30-40k for a couple reasons:

1. Supply is low at the moment- proof: i cant find a store or online retailer than can keep primers longer than 2 hrs. there's subsistence and there's greed. i choose the first.

2. How many primers do i seriously need. I will only buy what i can reasonably reload for a specified period. Yes, there is a time when i'd like to "stock up" and i dont care if anyone wants to buy 1 million for himself even though he only reloads say 100 a month, but now doesnt seem like the time for me to do so. when the situation gets better and there's once again a surplus on the market , then i'll stock up.

3. Not feeding the machine that jacks up primer and reloading prices almost double what they were because people will buy them at that price. when people stop buying more than they truely need, the surplus will rise and the costs will go down because now all those dealers that dreamed of selling those primers at twice the cost will be stuck with inventory that no one will buy for the high price- forcing them to either lower the costs or not sell.

there's probably more reasons that I didnt buy more but i'm tired of typing now...
