How short do you guys let your brass get before you discard it ? I trim mine to 1.7520 and seat to the upper portion of the cannelure for a coal of 2.21 to allow for some shorter brass to be in the mid section of the cannelure. I'm just looking a no go length so I don't waste time cleaning, depriming and sizing just to find out the cases are too short.

Every time you fire and resize your brass should grow and at the very least stay the same length. You should be able to just keep trimming to 1.750 and then toss the cases when primer pockets get loose or other issues arise.

yep, they aren't going to get shorter on their own. SHouldn't ever be a problem, unless they get trimmed improperly.

I trim mine to 1.745 when they reach 1.760 My Lee case trimmer is set to that from the factory.
