I live in Southern California, and was just wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase a pump-action AK rifle (PAR-1, 7.62x39 or PAR-3, .223)???????? It may sound strange, but I'm extremely desperate!!

I know Turners Outdoorsman had them on sale for a while. I dont think they were big sellers http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif. Try them. http://www.turners.com/

Try not to act to "desperate" at the gun store. Someone behind the counter may think you are on a "jihad" and deny your purchase. http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Usually they can be found at any local gun show but if you cant find one you can always have one sent to your FFL.Just go to www.jgsales.com (http://www.jgsales.com) and ask them as they have them in .223 or 7.62x39.They are in AZ so you will have to have it shipped in.No biggie though..... http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Contact an FFL in your area. I can recomend Al B. in Westminster (search this site for contact info). Have him order you one from Century International Arms (they currently only show the .223 caliber unit on their site). The downside is that you will pay a little more for it than from Turners. The upside is that you will get four more magazines (5 total) than Turners supplies with the weapon.

I'll second (third?) Turner's as a good source. I've never not seen one sitting in the racks when I'm in there.
I don't know where you are at Rifleman, but this is true for both SD locations if that helps.

...just curious too, why or what is making you so "desperate" for one of these abominations?

Well, thanks everyone for giving me an idea on where to purchase the pump-AK!! http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I said I was "desperate" because, well, actually I don't really know why I said that...O well. Anyways, Basura Blanca I live in San Dimas and when I saw you said "SD locations", I was thinking san dimas. But, then found that it says "location: san diego". But, the PAR-1/3 is sort of a abomination to the real ak i guess. But, do any of you know if this gun is a good buy or any pros, cons of the rifle?

That was from 2005. I'm pretty sure he's gotten in AKs by now....:p

I got one PPT $150 from a CGer in 2006 in 7.62x39. It had very hard/sticky extraction so I got rid of it.
