I went threw Brownells and bought two pen six screw scope rings for my .50BMG. I have a one inch scope tube but the rings are for 30mm. Now Brownells says there ring reducers have been discontinued. My question is where do I find reducers that go from 30mm to one inch? Thanks for any help you can give. Ray.

The only time I bought ring reducers I got them from Badger Ordinance. http://www.badgerord.com/

A.R.M.S. makes them, and Adco sells them:

Or look here for lots of choices:

BigAl and Max are right in that get the high quality rings/reducer setup. Get ring reducers with a shelf where they can not "walk out" of the rings. I have seen scope reducers actually "walk out" of a pair of rings when the shooter was shooting a .50BMG rifle.

If you are using a high quality scope (or any scope you don't want damaged), you might want to lap the reducers, like you would lap the scope rings. Check MidwayUSA or Sinclair Intl or Brownells for a scope lapping kit.

Thanks, you guys are great. U.S.A. Midway can take care of the problem. R.
