So I drove to Wilds Sports today to check the place out and hopefully pick up some powder and primers, but was expecting to leave empty handed since all of the doom and gloom I have been reading.

I found the reloading counter and a nice fellow behind the counter asked me if i needed anything. I asked for Large Pistol primers.

The nice fellow said they had Large Pistol in CCI and Federal. I then also asked if they had any Clays Powder.. He also said yes, in 1lb bottles only.

So even with the doom and gloom, I walked in to a shop, picked up 1k primers and 1 lb of my preferred powder. :43: (feel sorry for those in SoCal that had to wait in gun show lines)

I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff was at Wilds Sports today, even with the wife in tow.. she had a good time shopping there. She even picked out a Sig p226 for herself.

How much were the primers though?

39 bucks for a 1000 brick of Federal Large Pistol primers.

17 bucks for 1lb of Clays.

Not sure actually.. I have a small stock pile left of 200gr SWC .45 lead bullets that i have yet to loading up, so i didn't inquire about Bullets.
