I have 2 lower receivers (OLL) that I purchased a few months back...

I am now looking for a COMPLETE upper assembly for at least 1 of them...

I don't want to spend a LOT of money.

I am looking for a 1:9 barrel twist, and maybe 16 carbine or MAYBE mid-length..

WHAT BRAND, and WHERE can I buy it?

I had PKFirearms saved on my browser, but they are out of EVERYTHING :(

P.S. should I stay away from bushmaster?

how about trying the "for sale" section? or all the vendors we have? I see TONS of uppers, if only I had the $$.

No need to stay away from Bushmaster. They're a good brand.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money and you want a brand new upper, I think a Stag or Rock River Arms complete 16" complete carbine upper would be the best bang for your buck. Rock River Arms also makes complete mid-length uppers as well. Expect to pay about $600 +\- for each upper.

Unfortunately, I think most places are out of stock. So I would suggest that you find a upper you like and place it on backorder, if possible.

Have you read through my signature?

Wait until BCM comes up again. Get a BCG/CH from LMT or BCM while you wait.

I tried the vendors section... I started with coldwar, then J and J and then couldn't find the link to a website for PRK?

I prefer new but maybe used wouldn't be bad?

I guess I really don't know WHAT I want... I just sold a bunch of junk I had lying around and saved up about $2500. I already have 2 OLL, so I just need parts to complete them.

I would first like to do ONLY one rifle, saving the remaining $$$ for AMMO :)

What are good brands? I like the handguards/look of the carbine, is that a mistake? Should I go midlength? I like the MEANER look of short handguards on teh 16" barrel...

Your newb threads are bookmarked... Have they been updated?

BCM? There is a fellow selling a BCM carbine for $550 but I don't know anything about it... Is that a good upper...
