Of stupid arguments given by anti-gunners against shall issue ccw. The kind of arguments that commonly enter courtrooms and only impede progress, because they are often simple and rather accessible sentiments.

What do you guys think we could do with such a list to make sure that they are written off as common myths to the legislature?

I just think that when AB357 was taken out, there were too many people in the courtroom saying things like "OJ could have gotten a ccw" and other utterly illogical things. I think the ccw battle has too many easy to tackle oppositions, and if we just got things out there to the point where they didn't work so well, it could mean a brighter future for law abiding gun owners.

This could be done for other issues, but I honestly think that the opposition for ccw is a much easier opponent than the anti AW crowd, or especially the entire anti-gun crowd.

There are whole books about those - Lott's More Guns, Less Crime (http://www.amazon.com/More-Guns-Less-Crime-Understanding/dp/0226493644/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244069656&sr=1-1) (2nd edition). Don't need to use his stats on crime he thinks was prevented. Also Kleck/Kates Armed (http://www.amazon.com/Armed-New-Perspectives-Gun-Control/dp/1573928836/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244069697&sr=1-1).
