This is NOT a "gun interest" website at all. See also:

LOL!

They say that an armed society is a polite society. That point was driven home to me at my first gun show. I was not at all experienced with guns yet (my folks aren't gun-likers, and I never even touched a real gun until I was in college). That gun show was the Great Western, back in its 8-miles-of-tables heyday. I don't think I've ever encountered a more polite mob of a hundred thousand or so people!

I cringed a little bit at this:

Man: “Oh, my handgun permit.”

Bad enough we need to have CCW permits. I hope we never see "handgun permits".

I was at a testing center taking a exam. The ask you for 2 forms of ID to make sure someone's not taking your exam for you. No prob, I brought my DL and my passport. However it was a new passport and I hadn't signed it yet. The girl at the counter was adamant I couldn't test without another form of ID. I was about to whip out my CHL, when a supervisor came over and made an exception. Seeing as how they don't want you to wear a wrist watch in there I wonder how they would have felt about a 10mm. Its funny, they make you pat your pockets to show you don't have cheat sheets or phone on you...glad I was belt carrying that day.

This is peanuts to "The Daily Show" tonight on comedy central. They did a piece on AK Vs.AR for investment. No lie, it was a lengthy piece.
