trigger guard is too long, anyone think that if i curve it a little, it'll work? also, this guard is regular DPMS, but it seems thick. anyone think a hammer will bend it?

I'd just get a new one.

I don't think aluminium bends, it will break. Magpul just started making a polymer trigger guard for about $9.00, I'd just get one of those.

Try bending it... worse comes to worse, you buy a new one.

get a magpul enhanced t/g or the new one they got coming out. its nice and youll probably want it anyways so just toss the other one and save yourself an installation and headache

How do you know which part is wrong ?? What are you gonna jb weld and drill ? The lower ?? Don't do it ! Do some measuring before you start butchering stuff up:eek:

I think it would be smarter to modify the trigger guard than your lower.

I'd suggest using a MIAD with the triggerguard in the grip.

thing is, im trying to keep that original AR look ,so im sticking with the pistol grip. this is a lower that i made outa 80%, and visually, after alighning the first pin, the trigger guard's pin is not aligned with my lower receiver, and upon inspection, the trigger guard appears to be longer than the hole i drilled for it.this is on the ears, so i think some jbweld will do it?

Who's 80% did you use? Was it pre-drilled at all?
