Anybody put one of these together yet? Any fit and finish issues? How is the quality? I have seen them for sale by several vendors but haven't really heard of anybody putting them together. Anybody have any input on these? I am considering one for a DPMS 308 build... TIA!

My friend bought 2 of the CMMG .308 G3 compatible lowers & gets to pick them up today. I saw them @ the FFL & they were nice.

When mags are 1/10 of the price, seems a no brainer?

Has anybody actually assembled theses with DPMS lower parts kits and DPMS uppers? That is what I want to know... it doesn't seem like there is any reports on these?

I'll be transfering the LPK from my friends Fulton lower over to the CMMG soon. I'll try to remember to post about it.

Is the LPK a fulton lpk or a dpms lpk?

DPMS LPK. I had some fitting issue with the trigger and hammer. Holes are somewhat not with in specs. Had to modified hammer a bit.

i have one of their early production version. I don't know if the newer version will have the same problem as i did.

Did it take a lot of work to get the hammer to work? I am just looking to know what I am in for.

Thanks!

It's wasn't too bad. I sanded too much off the hammer. When i went to function check it. Hammer would not catch on the disconnect. It would release on first pull of trigger. And release on let off of the trigger.
Another way is to try and swap the single stage trigger parts around. Try differant hammer, trigger combo. And see if it works.

I ended up using a RRA single stage trigger.

So it sounds like the lower is a little out of spec?

Anybody else have any issues or experience with these?

Looking to buy a Fulton 308 lower. Anyone know of a walk-in shop in the Bay area or Northern CA that has them.

heres some info on that. I believe they have addressed the issue unless you find an old one still on a shelf.
