View Full Version : .30 Carbine ammo? ___ per box?
06-01-2009, 12:14 AM
Anyone buy any recently? I was used to seeing 20 per case for rifle ammo and 50 per case for pistol ammo.
Is 50 per case unusual for .30 Carbine? I saw some for around $25 per box of 50 the other day... I guess it's an ok price as I remember paying $7 per box of 20 a few years back.

I wouldn't pay more than $15 per box of 50 and that's why I haven't bought any for years.

The problem with 30 carbine is no one has any.
Natchez shooters supply (mail order) has some Aguila 30 carbine for $20 a 50 round box right now. I think it's still in stock. That's about as cheap as I've seen it since the whole ammo craze started.
$25 a box is not unreasonable right now, from what I've seen.

Yepp I remember 100 rd value packs of 9mm going for under $15.
Also SS109 for $199 per thousand (which I thought was kinda pricey at the time).
Doesnt stop me from buying today.
thanks for the info, Ill hit Natchez up in case I need more.

When in stock $25 a box is what I have paid now for the last few months.
Mainly the Remington from Walmart.
