The color is not desert tan but should be called Gheto Gold.

AICS? More like Remington jacks Scott Mcree in my opinion.

I've envisioned a stock/forearm like that for a bolt action. Looks like someone beat me to it. Very nice! The buttstock looks too busy, maybe toning it down a bit with a Magpul PRS like.

It's not shooting baby calibers:

338 Lapua Magnum, 338 Norma Magnum, 300 Winchester Magnum, 7.62mm NATO

Although it's a little weird looking, this thing will definitely put the HURT on someone way out there!

7.62 is a baby caliber from my perspective and I certainly hope that I'll get more then 2,500 rounds out of my .338LM.

AICS? More like Remington jacks Scott Mcree in my opinion.

AICS -> main material being aluminum, the pistol grip, and the folding stock

It does have some McRee feel to it...

Might as well slap one of these on your Rem700 and save some $$

reminds me of a Savage 10 BAS-K that I saw at a local shop this weekend. They were selling it for $700 over MSRP and they but a BSA scope on it for some reason. The sales rep actually tried to convince me that BSA was as good as Leupold. LOLWUT?

God help me, but I love those space guns.

What's the skinny on Savage Arms anyway? I know little to nothing about their product. I've never owned, nor fired anything by them.

As for the Remington MSR, in a word "HOTT(tm)" ;)

Savage makes some of the most accurate bolt-action rifles on the market. They have a pretty wide range of options, too- ranging from totally affordable but still accurate to OH MY GOD WHY IS THAT 10 BAS-K $1800 MSRP???? AHHH!!!

They have great actions, though. I have a Savage 116 (I think, darn these numbers) in .300 Winchester Magnum that probably the most accurate rifle I own.

Looks similar to a TACMOD chasis with a extra convoluted buttstock.

Looks like a good design to me, but ugly as sin.

Anyone know what mags they're using?

Looks like a tube gun that takes an AICS looking mag.

RRangel

It's basically just a tube gun. I wonder if they'll sell the chassis.
