View Full Version : 22 Cal IMI conversion kit legal in Vector carbine?

There are several semi-auto specific kits available to include the bolt and barrel. As long as one is using an "off-list" clone such as a Vector with a mag lock and a 10-round magazine, is this an OK thing to do in CA?

I suspect it's perfectly OK but just want to confirm with the minds of CG that the bolt's manufacturer (as opposed to the serialized upper-receiver) has nothing to do with the Robert-Roos list.

rimfire firearms are not subject to laws on written for centerfire semi-automatic longarms. so you dont need a bb. the firearm is a rimfire with a .22 bolt installed. the second the bolt is removed, the firearm is disabled, the second a centerfire bolt is installed it is then subject to those laws.
