View Full Version : No buffer retainer hole, please help

I just picked up my lower, but noticed that it doesn't have a buffer retainer hole, what should I do? Thank you guys!

you bought a 22lr lower didn't you? whats the side caliber marking say?

Contact the manufacturer. No point messing with it...

These days, everyone in the industry is running their factory crazy... like 24/7.... lots of QA issues....

Your not the only one to get one with no buffer retaining pin hole.
Same happend to me, although I caught it before dros and had the dealer send another. Contact the manufacture and have them rectify the problem with all incured expenses. They had a few get out with this problem.

Yup. Makes me wary of buying another lower, but glad that I have one good stripped Stag lower stashed away from 2006.

of course there is... but if he bought a brand new lower that was supposed to be spec, he should be able to get it swapped out for a new one that is.

Contact the manufacture, They will tell you how to take care of the problem.

It is still their obligation to take care of you as it was their screw up.

You can ship or mail the lower to the manufacturer. Ask them to send you a shipping label for the shipping company that they use to save you the shipping costs.
