I live in Oceanside and meeting a fellow member here to purchase his OLL. My shooting range Iron Sights does not handle OLL transfers for whatever reason so I was wondering if you guys know of anybody near me that can? Is Turners gun shops OLL transfer friendly? Anybody use Faith Armory in Temecula?

I don't think turners will do it, but there are shops in SD that do i just don't know them.

I know of shops down in SD but since he's coming from Rancho Cucamonga I wanted to save him a little bit of drive and meet him here or surrounding area. I dont get it, my gun range is very OLL friendly but they wont transfer them?! Whats up with that?!!

I hear that Faith Armory are OLL friendly. I live near them but I haven't been there. Here's an old post about Faith Armory in Temecula;

You may want to check Bright Spot Pawnshop in Riverside. Definitely OLL friendly. In fact, I bought my first lower there. Really good people.

Do you remember how much they charged for the transfer and dros? Did you have to make an appnt or did you just do a walk-in?

Private party transfers (PPT's) are limited to a charge of $35 and no more by law.

Mike at OC Armory will do them

call any of the Big 5s in the area. They do PPTs, and I doubt they really care what it is.

Last I heard, Big 5 does NOT handle OLL anything. Big thumbs up for Mike at OC armory, I drove up there last weekend to PPT the 5.7 that I had been looking for. Very nice guy.

I think I saw you there that morning (Saturday).
If I'm not mistaken my buyer was selling the 5.7, his name was Bob.

Yeah that was me, so you were the one selling the 556 pistol?

Yeah, hate to let it go, but wanted to buy some new rims for my Corvette.
Sorry I didn't catch your name or introduce myself. I didn't know he was selling it to someone on Calguns.
