Looking to buy a lever action rifle in any of 45 Colt, 44 Mag or 357 Mag. Winchester, Marlin, a good copy may be considered. I like some of the recent 1894 Marlins in particular.

FTF at an FFL in the Mountain View area, I will pay all transfer fees but I want to inspect the rifle before doing the transfer.

Please respond with a pic or pics the basic info and how much you are looking to get out of it.

Also I would (for the right rifle) consider trading my CAR Garand with accessories including 160 rounds of 30-06 and 10 en bloc clips.

It looks like you are north. If you plan on coming south PM me as I do have a Winchester I'm sure you'll love.

Have you checked your local Big 5's? I've seen a Marlin 1894 and a Puma 92 (good Winchester clone) in 44 Mag at a couple near me. Good luck finding the Marlin in 357 Mag; they're fairly hard to find. I eventually found one online, but it was MSRP + shipping + DROS, but after holding it when I went in to DROS, I think it might have been worth the trouble. Ironically, someone sold the same model NIB on this forum for almost half the price... the day after my birthday!!!
