I am looking for a winchester 94 30-30 or any other caliber of the 94. The new the year the better , i know that 2006 was teh last year they were made.

The 94 is one of my favorite lever guns as well (I have Win 93, Marlin 336 and 1894c). You may not want to limit your search to "newer is better", the pre-'64 guns have better quality construction (forged vs. stamped steel parts) and generally hold their value better, all else being equal.

I recently bought an excellent condition (under 50 rds fired) '62 production model with great wood and scope (offset mount to avoid the top ejection issue) for $450 on Gunbroker, just need to keep an eye out for them. More than 7 million were made, I believe that it is the highest volume production centerfire rifle ever produced.
