Chamber a round by pulling the bolt all the way pack and letting it go, do not ride the bolt home. Eject the round and examine it, tell me if the bullet has moved in the casing at all.

Also let me know the following:

What type of ammo you used
What type of bolt carrier you have (semi, enchanced semi, FA)
Carbine or full length stock
Type of buffer (if carbine)
Type of spring if you're using some extra power or fancy spring.

I seem to be having this bullet dislodging problem consistently with factory ammo and reloads.

Have you talked to Alexander Arms yet? (Or whoever the upper manufacturer is)

There is some guy asking the very same question on 50Beowulf.com.:D

My Bewulf does not do that, but my guess would be not enough crimp. Prior to getting into reloading I got a case of 200 factory 334s that would not chamber well at all and there was some bullet movement. At the time I did not know that right amount of crimp is critical and also did not expect factory ammo not to have the right amount.

To add, just read some posts on 50Beowulf.com and possible culprit may be that headspacing is too long, according to another poster with a similar problem. You might want to check your headspace or send the upper to AA (or whoever built it).
