View Full Version : RRA complete lower legit?

After reading http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=141885 two or threes times I'm still confused  I have a complete RRA lower with the markings CAL 5.56 LAR-15. Its mated to a DTI 16" upper. I looked at the OLL list like 10 times already and cant find this model on the list. But since its a frankengun is it considered "CA legal"? No evil features plus it has the bullet button. Please tell me I'm safe!

It's fine, you're safe.
What's questionable are the complete RRA guns that match the models listed. As long as you mate a RRA lower with an upper from a diff manufacturer or from RRA that isn't listed, you're 100% A-OK. However, if you use a RRA upper that has the same name as a listed rifle with a complete RRA, you potentially could have an issue (it's a better safe than sorry scenario, that's it.)

RRA LAR15 rifles are NOT on the Kasler list, so you're okay.
