I know you have to be 21 to buy an AR-15 OLL, but what about an AKM receiver?

You have to be 21 to buy handguns, 18 to buy rifles;AR OLLs, nds3, shotguns, etc.

The thing is, I asked before in this thread about stripped OLLs http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=162935
And they said since it doesnt have a stock, it's not technically a rifle.
You have to be 21 or older to purchase a stripped reciever.
On the ATF 4473 = "handgun", "long gun" or "other".
"other" = stripped recievers
Federal law requires a person to be 21 or older to aquire a "handgun" or "other" from a FFL dealer.

oh ok, sorry for the misinformation. I thought it was considered a long gun.

You have to be 21 to buy anything other than a long gun. Stripped receivers are not long guns.
