I'm building my first AR and I want to use a Geissele trigger. Would I also have to purchase a lower parts kit with the Geissele trigger?

I'm almost positive I need to purchase both, but I want to clarify here first.

Thanks

The Geissele trigger just replaces the trigger group and pins....you still need everything else..

I don't think they sell a LPK, so you're going to have to buy both

The Geissele trigger includes the hammer and trigger group as well as hammer and trigger pins.

Make up a list of the other needed parts and order them indivigually from Riflegear.com

Geissele`s are the SHIZZLE! I have Geissele Service Rifle trigger in one of my AR`s...I LOVE IT...Nice clean first stage and a VERY NICE, light, GLASS LIKE break, second stage.....The hammer has the "H-Beam" design to it, so it is gonna take some HEAVY abuse to break it.....

I have aftermarket triggers on all my ARs, aside from the RRA LPK with 2-stage, most other triggers don't come with LPKs

just buy a full LPK and sell the standard trigger groups, Trigger groups cost about $40 if you buy piece by piece, so you can easily get $30 for a trigger group if you sell it afterwards
