I'm trying to figure out the ambi bolt release on this POF 5.56mm lower. I've searched everywhere but there is no way to secure the bolt catch that comes with the LPK. Is it missing?

lol uhhh yeah id say they forgot to do yours. That looks like a GenIII lower and has a pin that threads in rather then presses in. I have 4 POF receivers 2 GEN IIIs, 1 Gen II, and a 308 and all have been good to go so far other then the detent holes being a tad tight on my genII. I say call who ever you got it from or call POF on moday. You'll get it taken care of im sure

that would be a 92% lower.

Oops. I'm not sure how CA-friendly POF is now.

I wish you well in getting it fixed.

I'd argue it's 100% firearm, but still 100% wrong.

You don't actually need a bolt catch for the gun to function. ;)

Way to go Q.C. department.

Thanks, I sure hope they are. If not, I've got a candidate for a Bohica build. Always gotta look on the bright side!

they have been ca friendly to me. I got a 20in 308 upper shipped to my door from them

It's fixable even if POF won't do it (which they absolutely should).

If you can't get it fixed, and your going to be in the Redding area anytime soon, I have a jig to line up the hole, and the 6" long drill bit needed to drill the hole.
However it should be POF's problem to fix.

Thanks for the offer, I'm sure POF will take care of it!
