your best bet is to goto ar15.com, you can order everything you want at good prices.

Almost nobody carries that stuff. Believe me I have looked. Traders carries some basic stuff like triggers parts and some uppers (A2) but that is it. Go to Reno or wait for the cow palace show.

I'm a big supporter of keeping the local FFL in business, but the internet is the best way to go for ar parts. Check the 'industry' forum at arfcom.

I buy all my evil AR stuff off the internet. There's a lot of competition and that usually means you will find the best prices. The advantage of buying at a gunshow is that you get to see it before you buy and maybe haggle on price, but if you do your research and know what you want beforehand the internet is prob the way to go since you don't have to wait for the next show.

ETA: If you need some suggestions on good/reputable websites to buy from I can point you in the right direction, as I just bought over $1K in stuff for a recent AR build project.
