I was thinking about a single point sling for my AK's(converted Saiga)

So i'm messing around and came up with this.

The rifle balances very well and hangs like an AR, just a bit heavier.

I used one of the OE trigger holes and punched a new hole, then drilled and tapped some picitinny rail and used a couple of machine screws and locktight.

I'd have just drilled and run some paracord through the stock. Or put a choker on the stock, for that matter.

Single point works pretty well on underfolders, though. But I prefer a two-point.

Can you still fit your hand on it if you shoot weak side or will your thumb hit it? The vltor ak stock adapter has the sling mount in the stock on both sides. You could drill your fixed stock in the same location and epoxy in a sling stud.

looks like it works. projects a bit much. i just drill and tap a hole 10X32 for a stud. it aint like you'll be using the rail for anything else, it just makes it stick out more. might tend to get hung up on your gear.

If it works for you, it's a good solution. It is pretty creative!
