Where can i buy a USA made milled receiver for bulgarian type SLR parts kit?
I saw a parts kit that was for Bulgarian SLR 95 milled receiver. Does anybody make milled receivers for this type of AK? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have seen recievers for everything else but this.

So lancaster already makes them. Are they good quality as would be the parts kit? Which would you reccomend?

lancaster hasn't shipped any as far as i know. the firing line is good quality but i don't think the firing line will ship to CA. dph is supposed to be really good but isn't in widespread circulation. there arn't that may parts kits anymore to build a milled receiver on bulgarian or russian would be a good bet but kinda expensive.

If you have $1400 I saw a sick SA-93 for sale at theakforum! It's debanned and looks like this with the uber rare bayonet.

I would buy a arsenal built rifle or thefiringline receiver. Another milled receiver is a norinco "mak-91" these were originally slant cut for underfolders but had a thumbhole stock fitted..

If you like the 90 degree gas block and ak front sight design a sa m-7 would be a better investment than a slr kit build which might run close in price. You'll have to wait for one to pop up for sale because they're all discontinued..

I would recommend a arsenal sa93, sam7a1r, classic, or sam7sf. There was also a underfolder with bakelite hand guards from the factory, that one is pretty rare I've only seen about 5 for sale.

I'm piecing together a "kit" for my mak-91. I'll have the receiver customized to fit the standard stock. I also have one for a underfolder, I got an old school hooded sight for it..:)

Actually a friend in arizona has a slr95 kit. Thats why i asked if there was a receiver, so i can buy a us made receiver and have a cali shop build it for me.
I just want it to be as original as possible and built as good as it would have been in bulgaria. He was gonna sell me the kit for $400

btw i heard k-var will start selling some of arsenals rifles and the sgl-20 and sam-7r (milled) will be the 2 that they are going to sell pretty soon but i don't know if they will ship to CA. so you might want to check that out.
