Want to change my front and rear sights on a Ruger P345, both are drift mount. Has anyone use d alocal gunsmith in O.C. to do this (on any model gun of course)? If so, how much and how long??

Give Bolsa gun smith a call. They are alright, many manufacture use them as warranty smith. They are in westminster.

Will O'Hara in Corona, not too far. Bolsa does terrible work and not so CS friendly.

Sorry what does CS mean? I ask because Bolsa Gunsmith is a stones throw away and have been keeping them in mind for future work.

Customer Service. If you perform a search for "bolsa", you will find threads on why NOT to allow their gunsmith to touch your firearms.

Bolsa is OK for simple stuff and warranty work if that's where your manufacturer tells you to go. The problem with bolsa is you never know what Smith is going to get ahold of your gun. They have several on staff there. Some are great, some not so great and it's catch as catch can. I've had them do some things like changing out sights which is simple and what you need. I wouldn't let them build me a 1911 for instance as the gun would be a hodge podge of whoever was doing what that day in the shop.

Bolsa is good for certain things.

Don't have any handgun customization. Go to the individuals across the country for this work who specialize in those particular pistols, for your 1911, Sig, Glock, SW revolver.

Bolsa is good for shotguns, especially sporting. Bolt guns, especially sporting.

And misc. light work, like sight installs, drill and taps, etc. Just general stuff.
