Does anyone have or know where to get machinist drawings for a Browning M1918?

Thank you:thumbsup:

I have some for the receiver. I was going to try a semi-auto build years ago, too complicated. I did find I needed drawings from three different sources to find all the dimensions.

Does anyone have the rest of the BAR? I might want to make semi auto. But have to make sure it is not too hard and make sure I pay attention to EVERY law city, county sate and federal

I've spoken with Bob Landies when myself and some friends bought the 1918A3 semi's when they first came out (and afterwards when I had to send mine back, more than once...)

The BAR receiver is one hard build from scratch.

IIRC, the receiver starts out as a 37 (or 39) LB forging, and there are a bunch of seperate machining operations that get it done to the finished state.

Even starting out with a 80% forging just leaves the hardest and most critical machining jobs left to be done.

I wish anybody that attempts it the best of luck.
