Nothing looks better than wood on an 870. I need to buy another 870 to go with the wood furniture I just bought.

nice looking gun there. a tad off topic but does anyone happen to know the feasability of stripping the textured finish off of the reciever and barrel and using a smooth bluing finish? if so any tips?

Nice! I'm looking to switch to a wood stock on my 870 also. Is there a difference between the 870 and 870 express stock? Or will they both fit?

I bought mine on eBay. There is a difference between the police stock and the normal express stocks. It feels a lot more solid (to me at least)

They both fit but the 870 police stock is a slightly different size, something to do with how they fitted them into the police car locks. Anyone with the actual facts know?

The 870 uses a steel receiver so it should not be a problem to blue....after striping and polishing. The trigger group might be a different issue.
