James Bond shot down a helicopter with one in "From Russia With Love."

In all fairness, he shot the second seater, who had just pulled the pin out of grenade, thus dropping it in the cockpit, resulting in the destruction of the helo - much more plausible...

yes, but in "Obamanies", it was the evil AR-7 that brought down a multi-million dollar helicopter with only one single round of it's deadly ammunition.

And he saw it on television so it must be true, that is why he is president as he is smart having watche every movie ever made, and that all these rifles painted black shoot down airliners full of elderly and young mothers with helpless babies.

Therefore that is whay every black gun should be outlawed, because on TV they are very dangerous.

I just went and put probably 300 rounds through the new one I just bought.
Pluses:
* It's really fun. I played for about four hours and couldn't get myself to leave. I have a new .22 pistol to try but couldn't pull myself away from the Henry :).
* Compact. I fit it in a book bag with my pistol case. Plus some books!
* I put a Barska 3x9 on it and was getting it sighted in pretty well. I was only at 25 yards, though. A few more times and I'll have it spot on. I'm no regular shooter, either.
Downers
* It's kind of a problem-matic. Out of the probably 300 rounds of Winchester HV (bulk) I wrecked 15 rounds. Probably only four or five have bent casings. I'll see if Henry can help me get it worked out.
* Must, MUST, must not have a hand touching the mag or it will jam almost constantly. I'm betting this is the major issue people are having.
* The plastic furniture is kind of ... plasticky. I let the grandmother shooting next to me try it and she commented that it had quite a bit of kick because of its low weight. I might end up getting one of the AR-7 collapsible stocks.
In the end, I concur with Gun Tests (http://www.gun-tests.com/) who said "buy it!" It's a fun and compact piece.

Oh, yeah. I contacted Henry and they said they'd take care of it. If they make it 100% I'm their's.
Another bump :). Buy it.

I had jamming/FTF problems with mine when using Federal Bulk. Probably 2 jams per mag.

However, I've put down 400+ rounds of CCI Minimag through it with 0 problems.

BTW, mine is silver but now I want to paint it black. :D

Same here. If you use good ammo, no problems. I just had mine out last week, 200rds of CCI mini mags... The only problem is my grandson is burning up all my 22LR with it.

Best bit of fun you can have for $200 bucks i take mine to the range all the time, its such a relaxing gun to shoot. plus you dont have to keep an eye on your ammo, its cheap.

If cleaned well, meaning you take the reciever apart, say every 500 rounds then you should not have any problem, unless as i originally encountered, fed it hollow point rounds, i stick to using Aguila 30 grain supermaximum hyper velocity rounds which give no feeding problems, i have never had a problem touching the mag and it failing on me for it.

Everyone should have one of these. Thats my promotion.
