I have a 625-10 (N-frame), and the screw for the factory wooden grips has gone missing. Where's the best place to buy a replacement? Brownells?

Thanks

Give S&W a call @ 1-800-331-0852.

Last month when I was re-assembling my S&W 1911, I managed to lose the barrel bushing in my bedroom on a Saturday night. (Yup, just popped up and into somewhere. Heard the distinct metallic sound of it bouncing on wood but couldn't find it!) The following Monday a.m. I called S&W (like 0720 PDST) and spoke to a customer rep about getting a replacement barrel bushing. He said: What's your name and address? And before I could ask how much, he said: I'll ship one out to you. You'll get it in a few days. :) So I said: Wow. Thanks! And it arrived in a few days. No cost to me at all.

YMMV

Why didn't I think of that? S&W customer service is great. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

I've bought S&W parts from them before.

Gunparts has them and Midway has them, but you have to pay attention. I didn't and found out there's a difference between the screws of J frames or N frames or K frames, ordered K frame screws to fit J frame grips I guess.
