For some odd reason this is the first thing that comes to mind. Very Cool indeed.

For good reason, Han Solo's blaster was a dressed up Broomhandle.

And many of the Stormtroopers carried gussied up MG-42s and Sten SMGs.

Yes, I remember these being fairly rare. Come on, I know someone of Chinese descent is going to buy this one or at least wants one, lol. No offense intended, I want a broomhandle myself.

Except for the serial number all markings are in Chinese and some rare dialect at that. On the forums that have info on these no one can read them, here is a photo if any one can?http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/crobert241/45001jpg.jpg

Looks like Hangul (Korean) to me... not a Chinese script.

I checked around my office since I work for a Singapore based company that employs many different chinese people.
It appears to be cantonese dialect in a traditional font. I got a couple similar translations. first was "gun", second was "revolver". The most comprehensive I received wat that it meant "left wheel", which is how the chinese call a revolver I guess.
I got a chuckle because when I first showed it as the picture I printed, they could not interpret it, then someone turned it around and read it backwards. Once they did that all the others agreed.
One of the things I have found over the years is that a direct translation from Chinese to english can still be cryptic so you have to add an interpretation.
Sorry it wasn't anything profound but it is what it is.

Thank God I'm an American born "white boy"....LOL
