Ok, here she is... My first handgun ever. Sad to see it go, but I want to buy some other stuff and I never, ever, ever use it or even load it. I'm too afraid I'll get a scratch (or smudge) if I take it out of the safe :D

This is a Springfield Armory 1911A1 Mil-Spec. "A man's gun" I've been told. It is approximately 10 years old but has seen very limited use, I would guess 300-400 rounds on the high end. It varies slightly from the current Mil-Spec model, and as such I don't know if it is the same exact model number listed on the roster (maybe someone can help answer this.) It definitely does not have and ILS, so I would say no. To answer the question that has been asked of me twice, ILS is Integral Lock System. New Springfield Armory 1911s come with a lock in the mainspring housing that allows you to "lock" the gun with a key. A lot of manufacturers are putting these in, and a lot of people don't like them as there have been failures with some.

No parts have been replaced, and no modifications have been made other than the pistol grip. The only thing wrong with this baby is some marring on the grip screws (from being dumb when installing Hogue wraparound grip), which is a $7-10 fix (I was planning to go with the allen head (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=1301&title=1911%20AUTO%20ALLEN%20HEAD%20GRIP%20SCREWS). )

Included:

Five 8 Rd. Mags (One Springfield, two Colt, and two no name)
Original plastic carry box, manual, ect.
Original grips.
Approx. 45 rds of Fiocchi ammo.

Asking $750 OBO. San Diego FTF only.

By the way, what's ILS?

ILS is Integral Locking System, it is a locking mechanism located in the mainspring housing.
