hey guys i know this is stupid but i wanted to know if any gun stores do lay away.just curious if i can put a gun on lay away while im waiting 30 days to end to make a new purchase,because i bought a gun recently.

That will depend on the gun store. I'm sure that if you're willing to put some money down towards that other gun, they shouldn't have a problem holding it for you while your 30 days clears.

Depends on the place. The places around me offer layaway on new items but not consignments(which makes some sense as they have to pay off the owner.)
Call around and ask.

I don't know of a single shop that wouldn't take a deposit for a guaranteed sell.

I have done layaways before the election, now with the buying frenzy I would call the specific store and ask for their policies.

Target Masters West in Milpitas does layaways for 3 months. 25% down.

RCGE in Sac does Layaway for i think 90 days. they prefer 1/3rd to half down.

I recall the people at Fowlers saying they would do a layaway but that was before the election, so I have no clue if they still do.

I recall the people at Fowlers saying they would do a layaway but that was before the election, so I have no clue if they still do.

I think I was in there post-election when they offered to put a Sig-Sauer p220 on layaway for me.

Bullseye in San Rafael does layaway for 60 days with a deposit. They are even flexible in the terms.

Sportsmen's Supply in Campbell does layaways. I've done this a few times when a great deal popped up and I didn't have the ready cash.

i believe bain and davis have a layaway plan for guns that are not consignment.
