What are some your thoughts on a Accu-Tec 380 ll . Price, reliability, stopping power.

Not familiar with that particular gun, but stopping power is going to be about the same as any .380. With the right loads it is minimally acceptable as a defensive cartridge. With ball and poor ammo, it's efficacy is going to be lacking.

What makes you interested in this as opposed to the Ruger LCP, the Kel-tec, or the Kahr?

$100.00 from another Calgunner.

Well, it will only save your life if it shoots. I have no conception of this pistols reliability... having said that, get a Makarov, cheap ammo, a better round and it will go boom.

It's $100 that would be the only reason why I would be interested. Personally I would go for a 9mm.

Thats about it. I already have 8 other pistols from a 44 mag. down to a 22lr.
Either my S&W 357 3 inch or .45 1911 3 inch will do my personal protection.

Its just at a hundred bucks that i couldnt pass it up.

It sounds like you have other tools for the self defense job, and at $100, that is a deal, however it is just another mouth to feed. I have a nagant revolver that I bought for $90 dollars before dros. It's really neat to me and an interesting exercise in over engineering, but I have yet to shoot it, because ammo is so costly...Every time I see it I sigh.

I hear ya. SD. I started out shooting 32 long and 32 HR mag. out of the Nagant, not too good. Bought one box of 7.62X38. Thats all i bought, gun sits in the safe now.

Good luck with the new pistol! Let us know how things go during the first time out.

ahh, ok. In that case why not? If it tickles your fancy at all, then buy it. It's certainly a good deal and at that price you'll certainly be able to get your money back out of it if you decide to sell it later.

Let us know how she shoots!
