I like the revolver but I disagree with your reasoning for buying it.
I could see toughe purchase requirements or more detailed background checks in the future but definitely not a ban on semi autos.

Would an all out ban REALLY surprise you?
I'm still waiting for a fixed magazine proposal for handguns... :(

When I first read this comment I had negative thoughts for you because I thinks it's rediculus but if you really fear that, I suggest doing something proactive and the first step is to join the NRA.
