Do you ever come up to LA? John at GT International take care of all my BMW needs. Maybe give him a call and see if he recommends someone in OC.

Send me a PM with details of the issue and I might be able to guide you a bit. I'm a bmw master tech by trade.

Don't know where you are in OC, but I recommend Bimmertech (http://www.bimmertechbrea.com/home.htm) in Brea. The owner is a BMW tech, used to work in the BMW dealer network until he opened his own shop. Top notch guy.

If you are looking for a current certified tech you are only going to find him in a dealership. There are plenty of "guaranteed, once former certified" BMW techs out there in the independent arena. I own and operate my own shop and did hold ratings with both Volvo and BMW at one time but once you leave the dealership and are no longer able to keep your factory training up to date it is kind of tough to maintain your rating. Jack's German Auto Service in Fountain Valley does a good job on BMW's but they are not certified as you requested.

i take my car to this german mechanic in Downey. Westwerk German Auto Repair (562) 803 4319 ... they have always been honest with me and show me the bad parts after the job is done. prices are fair as well, they have been in business for over 30 years.
