Do a search, I know there's a calguns member with one. He posted a youtube and gave a good critique.

it doesnt look too bad once you buy your batch of brass for 40 cents each

i'd love to hear the story on how they make the magazines

i saw one that looked like it was a sherer glock 21 mag with the lips tweaked and the back remelted made in usa

i wonder if they could modify one of the 25 rounders to hold maybe 15

i might be tempted if i could get a lee mold in 50

i wonder how much bullseye to use

A bit over $1/rnd, the prices are on their site.

That is one cool pistola! I may just get one for my 2nd Gen G21. Who cares if the bullets are only going 700 fps +, it's a .50. If you get SWHC bullets I bet those clean 50 cal holes look big.

I like the 1911 conversion kit too. I could reload using roundballs from my BP kit... wow. I'd bet the brass would never wear out either. hmm. I might have to pull a Hubel on this one.

That looks not fun to shoot. To me the Glock frame is not heavy enough to make that a manageable round.

Martin Rettings has one in stock, like 600 bucks IIRC.

That won't be on my 20SF or 21SF.

Who wants a slow .50GI round when they already have a 500 S&W?

That kit costs just as much as a new Glock. I'd rather buy another gun and have one for the other hand and use that for stopping power!
A dollar per round? Wow......more reason to get another gun with more common handgun calibers.
That is a cool idea for a plastic framed pistol I suppose.

Sorry man, but this is a solution to no real problem.

Look at the specs of the ammo:

50GI 300 JHP 860 18.43 44 Mag level
860fps?

From Hodgdon's data using the lowest power starting load with Winchester AutoComp, a .Hornady 300gr XTP hits 866fps. The average looks to be about 1200fps. I think they have some fancy marketing going on here.

My "practice" loads in my 500 do 1710fps with a Hornady 350gr XTP.

Glocks are reliable out of the box, I don't think there's any reason to tweak them beyond the accessory level (sights, connector, tuning the springs for your reloads, a differnt barrel if you shoot lead, and even extended controls, if you must).

Plus, I already have 1 proprietary cartridge with a rebated rim, .50 Beowulf. At least that one is easy to add a brass catcher and save the brass.

Wow, you really took my original comment very, very seriously! Relax, my friend. I will be making no 'special efforts' to turn my G-20 into a .50GI. I was merely making an *enhanced* "Oh, WOW" comment.;)

No problem, I don't take much here seriously, except from some trusted sources. ;)

I am not interested in it simply because the ballistics aren't there. Cool sure, but my 10mm packs more of a punch.

Meh. The round looks funny.

Seriously, tho, if I were to do something like this it'd have to be the 460 Rowland conversion. Ballistics on that are quite impressive...plus, easier to reload as components are the same as 45 ACP. Well, 'cept for the case.
