What county are you in? There are many counties that won't give you a concealed weapons permit. Check that county's Sheriff's Office website and there should be some info there. For example, Fresno County just has contact information on their website and they mail you out the app.

Unless you are a police officer or active military with permanent residence in another state you cannot get an AW permit as an individual.

Concealed carry is on a per city and county basis. talk to your sheriff or chief of police. (in most counties it is not easy) you can visit www.calccw.com for more info. about each county.

A dealers license is not as easy as it once was. I don't have the details.

These questions are all answered in great detail on this board too if you use the search feature.

Ah, godfather - the current state of the law is such that there is no offer the State cannot refuse!

It is true what has already been posted - civilians don't get AW permits, and CCW is very dependent on your actual, verifiable county of residence. In general, if that county has 300,000+ people, it's very difficult (but sometimes not impossible).

Dealer info is actually at DOJ: http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs.php
