As the others have said, it's not legal.

Threaded barrel makes it an assault weapon.
Replace the barrel with a non-threaded one and it will no longer be an assault weapon.

But, that version of the SIG Mosquito is not on the approved list.
So, it can not be imported into CA (unless, you have an exemption).

maby getting a ca legal and get it refinished in that color. can't find the link for the company that does that type of finish.

Threaded barrel models have the thread cover on them and are epoxied in, aren't they?

My friend has a walther with threaded barrel that has a screw on thread protector that is essentially permanent.
