Looking for my next gig.

Employed the last 4 years at KNBC channel 4 as Audio mixer on the morning and mid-day news. Laid off two weeks ago due to control room automation.

I'm looking to stay in television but what I really want to do is get into photovoltaic system design and installation. If anyone reading this works in the PV trade and you need a hard working assistant/trainee, please let me know.

I have a broad engineering background mainly focused in the broadcast industry. If it involves electrons, chances are I can do it. I build audiophile headphone amps as a hobby - I know how to read schematics, solder, use test equipment, etc. As far as TV, I've mixed everything from Nascar races to the international feeds of the Academy Awards, to the Dixie Chicks.

I'm located in Los Angeles. Member of NABET Local 53. Bilingual (English Spanish)

If you work in TV and need a freelance audio engineer or an EIC to run and fix your equipment, shoot me a PM. I work on TV trucks too.

I'm going crazy and I've only been unemployed for two weeks, HELP!!
