Ok, who's interested in the Bay area??

I have the supplier calling me back with availability... they're site says in stock at this price.

I'm in for a couple cases, I told them maybe 10 cases.

I'm still waiting for a call back. I posted the thread immediately after I got off the phone with them so we'll see where this goes. i don't want to post the name of the place out there yet because I don't want them swamped with calls.

A while back I found cases of Wolf .223 posted on a site for $109 a case (1000 rds) and the link worked! I ordered a four cases. I wish I would have ordered ALL of them. Hopefully these guys will honor their advertised price.

I just got off the phone with them. $205 is the price but they're bringing all their inventory to a gun show this weekend and wont ship/take orders till Monday.

They said they would call me back today before 5 to let me know a price per case shipped. I don't have the ability to pay for 250 cases (well I do but the wife wouldn't go for it) so the payment would have to be worked out.

All ammo would need to be picked up in/ around Scott's Valley or delivered on my schedule for a fair fee. I'm sure I can work out shipping if I had payment for the ammo and shipping in advance.

I'm not looking to make money on this, I'm just looking to get ammo out to the masses at a price that isn't ABSURD :43: I hope this turns out to be a solid lead.

I'll update this thread as I get info.

I'll take at least 5 cases, and can pick up. FYI anyone in the Fresno area or anywhere in between that's not too far out of the way I can deliver to for a little gas money or a beer (if I have some time to spend not on the road of course)

Might be easiest to just order what you want and then post/PM the contact info to others so you don't have to deal with pre-paying and/or re-shipping.

Update:

She just called me back and gave me the biggest bull***** story... after telling me that the price is $205 in our last phone conversation (like an hour ago) she now says "that all of our current inventory is going to the show this weekend and we don't want to be without inventory for the show, our next shipment will be at a price of $400 per case". I asked her "you're gonna double the price?" and she just said "yep".

This is the kind of crap that pisses me off! I specifically asked about the $205 price and she assured me that it was a valid price. Is anyone in FL? we should got to the show and buy it all at $205 a case! I'm sure they'll jack the price there to.

Sorry to get everyones hopes up :( but I didn't post this up until she said the price was good... I'll continue to scour the net for deals, and when I find 'em I'll pass em on to you guys.

No, not yet. I just sent them a nasty-gram and told them they just lost a 50-100 case sale AFTER quoting me a price. That's $20,500.00 Lets see if they'll do anything for us.

FYI: It's a supplier in Florida.

Heres a shot from their page:

I have to think she was quoting an old price, and that $205 is less than their cost now. Must have been an interesting moment when someone in the know at her business found out what she had been quoting. She is dumb, we are desperate.........not $400 desperate however.

Change the title of this thread to the current price so people will stop looking at this thread unnecessarily.

Thanks for trying to help out fellow calgunners by attempting to get a good deal for all of us.

i doubt it would bother them since they'll be able to unload them off since they have it in stock.

Edited because I can't read.

Depending on shipping I'll take up to 5 cases. Is it military classic or black box?

It was fun while the fantasy lasted. Kind of like buying a lottery ticket.

Thanks OP for trying.
