HAS anyone been able to figure out how to "stop" the extending part of the classic army stock from coming completely off the stock when mounted on the GSG-5? it's an amazing fit but i hate that when i extend fully, i pull the stock end off completely.

also

has anyone figured out how to get the sling mount on?
is it a matter of aluminum welding the classic army supplied piece on to the stock cap?
or is there another way?
thanks guys!

I hope someone can answer this. I put on my stock yesterday at the range and am curious as well. Where the little pieces in the plastic bag go and how. I laughed at the thought of going to airsoft extreme and asking. That would look good walking in there.

i do know that the parts are useless cause they don't work with the gsg lower
the only part that i'm not sure about is the metal sling mount that classic army supplies

It is my understanding the small parts are for the airsoft gun only. The metal sling mount will work. I know there are pics of how to fit it online. Its really easy once you see it, but its hard to explain via text. The endcap holds it in place.

The little leaf-spring and plastic piece in the baggie are for airsoft only. On airsoft guns, there is is a slot that they fit into, and they prevent it from coming out completely. If you aren't holding the tab to the side while pulling the last portion, it shouldn't fly out. Just get used to using the same hand that you extract it with to push the tab to the side, and you shouldn't have an issue.

dude you rock!!!
i just did the install now and it works BEAUTIFULLY
takes some hammering down with a rubber mallet but it worked (hammering down of the stock cap, not the actual sling clip)

here are the pics for everyone's future convenience!

how to install the sling clip onto your GSG-5 (if you're using the Classic Army all metal collapsible stock)...

Glad I could help. I know I had trouble figuring it out at first as well. I did not need any tools to get mine on, I was able to push the endcap on by hand with mine.

The metal piece is a sling loop. Go here to see how to use it:http://rrages.com/retract/index.htm

The other little pieces are throwaways - they're for an airsoft application.

The plastic stop peace. At the rear of the GSG it is missing some metal as compared to an airsoft, I was thinking trying to make this. 1st I thought of using a bondo plug or equal & carving as needed for the spring & retainer. But now I have a milling machine so I may go with metal instead.
