We just received a shipment of the new Magpul MBUS Front and Rear Flip Up Sights in Black.

WARNING:

I spoke to Magpul about this today.

These Sights are not to be used on any sort of DI or Gas PIston railed gas block, since the heat from the gas block can possible melt the sight.

They are rated to be used on railed forends only.

Hi Chris, I've been looking at these for the upper you sold me yesterday. I'm glad you mentioned the heat issue, this is definitely not the right product for this particular unit.

There another issue too I think people may or may not be concerned with. As near as I can tell, the rear sight is windage adjustable, but I don't see an elevation knob. Looks like a decent battle sight for railed fore-end models, as long as people are aware of whatever limitations the design may have. I'd appreciate confirmation regarding the elev adjustment or lack thereof.
