Ok, I used Danny's service and I have to say that I shipped out a package on Saturday from CA to TX and had it back 6 days later...all for 30.00 + shipping...Now before you all start up, I do not have power trimming and I hate trimming 950 223 cases by hand...so I found this service worth it....brass looks good and I am pleased with the service.

To bad you wont do PPU...

dhenry132
07-30-2009, 5:30 AM
I stopped because of the extreme differences in the flash holes. Some of the PPU is fine. But, the last I did I broke 15 pins because of to small, off centered flash holes.

Hey Henry,

I have a lot of 223 PPU. If I deprimed them myself, can you accept them to just trim them to length and swage? Depriming and resizing isn't my time sink. Case trimming and swage is what takes a long time.

Ha ha, you got most of that brass. Too bad I have another 1,500 pieces now :D I am sending them to Freakshow to be commercially reloaded by him. I am still debating as to whether or not I should start loading my own .223 since I would use this service and save me a lot of time :D

different calibers can be added to make 1k right (ex. 750 .223 and 250 .308)? And how much is return shipping? I currently have no working tumbler so I would just need them shined, deprimed and trimmed to length.

Henry pumped out 1k of .308, 2.005 trimmed, all pretty consistent. Curious
as to what machine CBP uses. Great service for people who don't have time or
all the tools yet, or people like me who are lazy :D

Tag - This looks like a great service.
- If I were to buy my self a better trimmer, like a Giraud, it equals almost 20k rounds through your service.
- 20k would last me a long time, but I need more brass to get started.

Instead of me counting the brass to 1k. What size Priority Mail box is best to fill up?
I have a 5 gallon bucket full of 223.

dhenry132
01-15-2011, 8:13 AM
A 5 gallon bucket will hold roughly 4000 cases of 223.
Two large flat rate box's should hold all of with no problem.

Just curious how long does it take you to actually prep 1,000 223 cases? It takes me about an hour to prep a couple hundred =)
