View Full Version : AR-15 mug w/ rail mount for carry handle!

The cost is prohibitive, but these are pretty damn cool none the less.

Built to military specifications, Battle Mug features a M1913 rail interface system which allows the operator to mount a standard issue M4 carry handle, tactical light, laser device, holographic sight (we call them “beer goggles”) or even a bayonet for close quarters, high risk operations.

$349 :eek::eek::eek:

04-24-2009, 9:56 AM
for that price you would think they would throw in a $25 chinese knock off carry handle

04-24-2009, 10:25 AM
This surely doesn't qualify as a Good Deal.

04-24-2009, 10:34 AM
If we buy 50 of them, the price drops to $249/ea. Group Buy anyone?:biggrinjester:

+1 to the Berkley remark. I want one just because

04-24-2009, 11:09 AM
I want one but damn I'm not payin $350 for a cup... maybe if it was solid 24k gold, just maybe.

Perfect for the Office

only about $300 too much for this guys wallet. But uber cool.

HMMM...something doesnt seem right here.... All the "Battle mugs" I saw the gunnies in Iraq carrying were plastic! these are obviously FAKE

04-24-2009, 10:49 PM
I wouldn't pay a buck for that thing.

04-24-2009, 11:04 PM
This thing is sick! I would start drinking beer just to have a reason to own one!

I'd pay $5 for that. It's just a mug.

04-25-2009, 7:43 AM
I would rather buy another lower and start yet another project!

04-25-2009, 7:54 AM

Just kidding. Fortunately (or not), I have more brains than money.
Looks like a beer mug for the Terminator!

04-25-2009, 7:56 AM
For the REMF who has everything.

04-25-2009, 8:20 AM
Looks cool but WAY to expensive for it.

04-25-2009, 8:33 AM
You guys that checked the website should know that price their charging isn't even that bad. Consider how much a billet lower or ANYTHING machines out of a 13.5lbs hunk of aluminum would cost you.

I mean look at this thing, it ain't "just a mug."

Would I buy it? Not for that price and not for a mug. But than again I am not a mug collector, think of it as something no one else will have and falls into the collectible field. If I had a smack load of money and I happen to like mugs than the price is far from bad, it's more than a fair price for getting a piece of machined art.

those are illegal in california.

We can only get OLM's "Off list mugs"

wonders if the mug is worthy to shoot at whenever I'm bored /no yotes around/ target to shoot at??? Will it still hold my beer at end of my day after shooting couple rounds at it?? geez they coulda have built something else like knockoff magpul lowers? wonders whats next? toilet seat or what? :dupe: to whoever buys one.

The owner of Hero-Gear posts on another forum I'm a member of. Apparently these have been selling very well.

Someone suggested he cast the mugs and just machine the finishing. He stated that he knew from the get-go that he wanted these to be machined billet and very high quality. He made a substantial financial risk, but it seems to be paying off.

I will say, however, that they're about $325 too rich for my blood.

No thanks way too much.

04-25-2009, 3:53 PM
I hope these are not on any government procurement list...

04-26-2009, 11:29 AM
Wow! Look he dropped his price to... $279. Now you could buy 2. Not!

I guess if worse gets to worse you could always use the handle as a BUIS in a pinch! That is, if you're out in the bush with your AR and a cold frosty and your Eotech, Vulcan, or Aimpoint craps out.

I like those, but would spill coffee all over myself trying to drink while maintaining trigger discipline! ;)
