Not affiliated with them, was there this past evening.

Now they are stocking RAA Saigas, there was one on the wall in .223. They had a couple in 7.62 x 39, but they sold out quick. Couple years ago I tried to get them to transfer a Saiga from CWS, but they refused. I guess now they see the light!

They had double star lowers for 160, charles daly 169 and several brands for 220. Couple of uppers, but didn't get the price/caliber.

Good prices on the lowers. Good people as well.

That's funny, jchen must have been there at the exact same time I was; they sold the last 7.62 Saiga out from under me.

Small store; I was probably standing right next to you.

7.62x39 went for $499, where as .223 $529. Note, these are the new California Compliant model from the factory (stamp on the receiver) I too awhile back ask
about a transfer but they didnt wanted to deal with a " modify " California Compliant firearms, cant say I blame them. I asked High Bridge in SF and they were happy
to do the transaction for $75. So we're all happy campers

Its always a pleasure dealing with D and Uncle V, Prices are very reasonable, they are up front and honest and funny as hell :)

Oh, yeah. and I was probably standing next to the both of you and didnt know there was Calgunners in the house.

Was there yesterday doing a OOS transfer at the time the Saigas were being sold. I can appreciate them even though they are not my thing.

Even if I were miles away City Arms would still a shop solidly on my goto list for various reasons.

Jeez louise, what, was it ALL calguns yesterday? I wish the old Pacifica gun range was still open; it would make a great place to meet up and put a face to the name.

What is this california compliant stamp that you speak of? Saigas are already california compliant if you leave them stock.

^It's just a 'CA' stamp next to the Cyrillic model number on the receiver. Doesn't mean a thing really.

I thought about picking one up to use as a range blaster, since I already have a ton of old 30 rounders and 75 round drums, but I wasn't aware the 'CA' model uses proprietary 10 round mags. Looks like the mag well is shorter and wider than a standard AK type.
