Hi Everyone:

This is my first post in CalGuns so pardon me if this topic has been discussed before my time.

Recently I sold a few handguns via Private Party Transfer, and transactions were properly conducted at a local FFL where DROS paperwork were filed along with 10 days waiting period etc.

Does anyone have experience with the new/revised NLP form ? My NLP application ppwk were sent back to me with a short letter stating that I've omitted some information on Section D (Sold /Transferred to a family member or private party)

I had already provided them DROS ppwk for both purchasing & selling when I sent in the application & there's nothing else left I can provide DOJ.

My FFL told me what I'm doing is unnecessary & overkill. He said once DROS is done, all I need is to keep my seller's copy of DROS.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

FFL is right - DROS paperwork has you as seller, buyer as new owner.

Next time, please don't put your question in 'Current Legal Cases' - probably an accident.
