I'm now 3 days into my 10 day wait... my very first AR! I have a garage full of wood working and mechanic's tools, but there always seems to be "special" tools that one needs ya know?:)

So I'm looking for suggestions on what I should get. I see the AR-15 Multi-tool but would be currious as to thoughts on this tool vs. others.

Thanks all!

Thanks Frank! I've got a set of standard punches, from OSH I believe. Seem to work on my SKS anyway...

Vice blocks to hold the rifle as you work on it. I still need to get some, its a pain in the butt having the rifle move while your trying to tinker on it or tighten stuff down.

DPMS Multi-Tool (http://www.riflegear.com/p-216-dpms-multi-tool.aspx) and DPMS Panther Receiver Claw (http://www.riflegear.com/p-350-dpms-panther-receiver-claw.aspx)

I use 'em quite often.

Got them both from riflegear.com

If you plan on doing a fixed mag build and using a Prince50 Bullet Button then don't forget about the FreeLock Tool.

I know, a shameless plug but I'm sure it will come in handy.:)

Alright, it looks like I've get a bit more shopping to do. Fortunately I have some basics (including cleaning supplies) but the AR15 specific stuff... time to shop!

I do appreciate the input guys!
